The new CPSIA law affects so many thousands, possibly millions of small businesses. It's so sad that something meant to help children is going to have such a negative impact on small businesses, especially in these already difficult economic times. The website etsy.com features handmade items by individual sellers, and so many thousands are upset about this law, and trying to get it amended. The new law effects ANY product that is intended for use by a child under the age of 12. Toys, clothing, cloth diapers, blankets, hair bows, EVERYTHING! If the product is meant for adults, but "looks" like something a child would like, it is included!
